Argentina: Everyone knows of Malbec from Mendoza in Argentina. Our portfolio focuses on the compelling and more unique regions of Patagonia and La Rioja. Both regions make amazing Malbecs any fan of the wine will love. But Patagonia also is known for their big, bold, and delicious Pinot Noir, and La Rioja for their aromatic Torrontes and delicious Bonarda. With literally hundreds of similar-tasting Mendoza Malbecs available in the US, it's time to enjoy some of the other great regions of Argentina.
South Africa: They’ve been making wine in South Africa for 350 years, but in modern times they were unable to trade with the rest of the world until the end of Apartheid. It has taken a little while, but America is now discovering the amazing distinctiveness and variety of South African wines. South Africa is a country with two oceans, 11 official languages, a Floral Kingdom with more plant diversity than in all of Europe, and topography that creates a seemingly unending number of microclimates. The wine industry is the perfect reflection of “The Rainbow Nation” with variety, diversity, and distinctiveness in every bottle. No wonder exports of South African Wines to the US grew by 18% in 2010 (the sixth year in a row!), and wine critics are hailing the value of South Africa’s wines:
